Do You Qualify for Preventative Lung Cancer Screening at Greene County Medical Center?

November is National Lung Cancer Awareness Month and the ideal time to see if you qualify for a low dose CT lung cancer screening. Qualified candidates will meet the following criteria:

• Age 50 – 80 years;
• Asymptomatic—meaning no signs or symptoms of lung cancer;
• Tobacco smoking history of at least 20 pack-years (one pack year = smoking one pack per day for one year; 1 pack = 20 cigarettes);
• Current smoker or one who has quit smoking within the past 15 years; and
• Receive an order from their provider for a lung cancer screening with LDCT.
