Orthopedic Appointment Opportunities Expanding at Greene County Medical Center

JEFFERSON, Iowa – For more than 12 years, Dr. Jeffrey Wahl has been providing orthopedic services at Greene County Medical Center. He has been seeing patients in the clinic one day a week with another half day set aside for surgical procedures. As we enter into 2023, Dr. Wahl and Greene County Medical Center are pleased to announce he will be increasing his clinical time with Monday afternoon appointments.

Effective January 16, Dr. Wahl will be accepting appointments on Monday afternoons from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. This is in addition to his Thursday clinic hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and surgical procedures performed on Monday mornings.

“I am extremely pleased to be able to expand my practice in the Jefferson area,” Wahl said. “It is important to my patients, and to me, that they are able to receive their treatments and attend their clinic visits without spending needless hours on the road.”

Dr. Wahl graduated from Jefferson-Scranton High School, attending and graduating from Simpson College in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He received his D.O. degree from Des Moines University in 2005 and completed his rotating internship and orthopedic surgery residency at The Cleveland Clinic-South Pointe Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. He, his wife Becky and their three children moved back to Iowa in 2010.
