Dr. Joseph Merchant sees patients at Greene County Medical Center two Wednesdays per month for routine oncology provider visits and chemotherapy infusions.

Chemotherapy infusions are a common method of treatment for many cancers. The infusion process involves the delivery of the medication directly into the bloodstream through a needle that is inserted either directly into the patient's arm or into a central line.
